Reviews for Tales of the Tendo Family Manga

This review contains spoilers. I was confused about what the relationship between the two would be at the end of the previous volume, but it cleared up completely. I'm also concerned about the darkness of the Tendo family itself as to what the two will do in the future.

This review contains spoilers. The main character who came to the Tendo family as a replacement. There are many things I'm worried about, such as the relationship between the protagonist and her husband and the mystery of her grandfather, who is the person who raised the protagonist.

This review contains spoilers. It's not just about love, it's also intricately entangled with house riddles, etc., so I never get tired of reading it. Personally, I like crows the most.

This review contains spoilers. These are my impressions up to volume 12. There are people living in a large, empty mansion, each with a strange feeling. Everyone just acts faithfully to their own feelings, but it sticks together like a liquid high in clay, and it's heavy. The hero's naturalness is the only salvation. I hope at least the two main characters will have happiness as to what kind of end they will each have in the future.

This review contains spoilers. The wish of the girl who came in as a substitute for Ran who marries to the Tendo family who never comes back alive is “I want to help people and die.” It's a story about Masato, the retainer of the Tendo family, naming such a girl “Ran” and putting him next to her. It draws readers' interest by delicately and realistically depicting things such as Masato's love patterns in Ran and the inside story of the Tendo family swirling with intrigue. This work is recommended for people who like Japanese-style love romance.

This review contains spoilers. Speaking of that work, let me explain what kind of story it is. I tried to die, but I was asked by someone who didn't die, so I sneaked into the mansion, but it was discovered that it was a fake and I thought it was over... but I found out that comics set in the Meiji period are interesting.

This review contains spoilers. I think it's a work whose evaluation changes depending on that. The main character has a self-sacrificing belief that “I want to help people die,” but he is not a “child with a pure sense of justice” or “a human-like child who unconsciously harbors ego rather than for others,” which is common in other works, but “a child who knows everything about being his own ego.” That is why this protagonist is said to be “crazy” regardless of whether it's in or outside of the story, and it's also one of the attractions of the work, so I don't think it's suitable for people who get caught here in the first place. Also, they grew up in an isolated environment without proper education, and they are so unfamiliar with sexual knowledge in the middle of the story that they finally know in the middle of the story that knowledge about menstruation and that kisses are something special between men and women, so there is little sense of crisis against men in the early stages in particular (after memorizing that knowledge, they properly defend themselves against men's approach). If you think about your upbringing, it's natural, but I think those who read it by applying their own “normal” will be particularly frustrated by that gap. In summary, I think it's a work that can be enjoyed by people who want to empathize with the “normal protagonist” and that is stressful due to the gap with their own way of thinking, and conversely, it is a work that can be enjoyed by those who want to enjoy “an unusual protagonist.” If I were to name a problem with the work, it's probably that “the character's aberration” cannot be conveyed by the synopsis or the standing reading part alone... Incidentally, the comments in the top reviews (I've probably only read up to 2 volumes) seemed a bit misleading, so I'll add that, but it was only in episode 1 where the main character left the hero alone and helped people, and he was properly blamed in the story. Also, since it's a story in the early stages where the main character doesn't have much fondness for the hero, I don't feel like it's a problem that much to worry about.
