Both the story and gambling depiction ◎

A story about Mary Saotome before Yumeko transferred to another school. Mary appeared as a really disgusting person in the main story, but the secret of her strength was such a struggle! A work that changes the way you look at it. There are still plenty of gambling ideas, and I never get tired of reading them. Unlike Kaiji, each match isn't that long, and the relationships and story are well drawn, and the balance is good.

Hang in there Mary

This review contains spoilers.

This review contains spoilers. The kid who lost to Yumeko at the very beginning of the main story. I used Suzui-kun as a livestock. Even in the main story, she doesn't stand out to Yumeko, but I remember that she set her apart from other young ladies with bad personalities. I definitely want to support Mary, who is dangerous, rather than Yumeko the genius gambler. Mary doesn't like gambling, but she's willing to compete in order not to be a loser. She has her own view of justice and life, and I feel refreshed when I look at it. Juraku-sama is also a character that is quite attractive and seems to be suitable for girls, and it seems that the exclusive livestock girl also enlightens and wants her. There aren't many romance elements, so I'm looking forward to Juraku-sama so far.

面白い

interesting

I read the main story, and since I like Mary, I read this one too. It's interesting. I like it because it makes sense to Mary's way of thinking and acting. Even though he has such a handsome personality, why did they do that to Suzui-kun at the beginning of the main story... Both the main story and this one are very beautiful, but personally I like the main picture because it is more impressive. This section is probably a matter of taste. However, in terms of story, Aoi and Juraku have always had bad personalities and feel invincible, so there are places where they aren't a bit cool. Good luck Mary.

characters

Similar to the main story, it's a game about gambling, but I enjoyed this one because I like the characters.

No way (lol)

I came here after reading volume 1 of Kakegurui, so I had no idea that this kid is such a great character (laughs), and it's very interesting both in that respect and in terms of the difference from Yumeko, the main character in the main story. I also like this one of the secondary characters, and the girl I'm a childhood friend of is very cute. There is a charge for both volumes starting with volume 2, but I'm thinking of continuing to read this.

It's also different from the main story

It's a very interesting story about Mary, but I thought it was a character I didn't like until episode 1 of the main story, but the more I got to know it, the more I fell in love with it. It's a character I want to cheer for.

The main character is good ‼ ︎

I think it's a very enjoyable story with a very good sense, interpretation, and method of the protagonist's gambling

spin-off

This is a spin-off centered around Saotome Meari, who first gambled with Yumeko in Kakegurui volume 1. This is also interesting, but I wonder how much you can enjoy the process now that it has converged on volume 1 of Meari.
