A pleasant day

This review contains spoilers.

This review contains spoilers. Everyday life in Handa is fulfilling, and I think it's good. Among my own realistic everyday scenes as a reader, scenes were drawn that were surprisingly likely to be found when searching for them, and there were places I could sympathize with the main character. I think the discovery that when people move from the city to the countryside, relationships suddenly become close in a new place is a story. Also, each local person has a strong personality, and I understand the feeling that it is a bit difficult until you get used to dealing with them.

A woman who liked her so much that she went to the Goto Islands is passing by

I read this comic and learned that there is a remote island in Nagasaki Prefecture called the Goto Islands. Then, after a few months of reading, I went to the Goto Islands. “Why the Goto Islands...?” When asked, I said “I know about Yuming's school song...” (not a lie), but this was actually my first comic. I was so addicted to it that I bought not only Handa-kun, but also anime and drama CDs. I almost inadvertently fell in love with Handa, and before I knew it, my eyes were on Yoshida next to Mash. It's probably love. I want everyone to read this book. Then, be sure to go to the Goto Islands. NOTHING! You might think so, but that's good. It's not that there's nothing, there's nothing to waste, so if you're tired of the city, work, or study, be sure to go to the Goto Islands. And read Barakamon too! Drama CDs are good too!

元気

vigorous

It's kind of surprising that even calligraphy teachers use ink. The setting is the Goto Islands, which also appeared in the morning drama “Maiagare.” The children on the island are strong.

The calligraphy teacher is “Barakamon”

This review contains spoilers.

This review contains spoilers. The main character, Handa sensei, is a calligrapher. It's a story about simply hitting a major figure in the calligraphy world, moving to Nagasaki Prefecture and the Goto Islands, and living on that island. After all, the island's customs and dialect are amazing. Professor Handa grew up in a city, but his life is firmly grounded here. In particular, I am laughed at and moved by the interaction with the children on the island. There are probably positives and negatives to life on the island, and the negative parts seen by people who want to jump out of the island and go to the city and the positive parts of moving from the city to the island like this time are sometimes emphasized. I feel the energy in the dialect barakamon (energetic person). Whether you leave the island or live on it, it seems necessary.

Cartoons are good too!

I first watched the anime, and since I was curious, I thought I'd read “Barakamon” in the manga as well. I'm glad that comics have merits that can only be experienced in manga. If you are interested, be sure to read it~

Relaxed everyday life

I didn't get along well with the villagers, but they gradually became accepted, became familiar, became a member, and felt sad when they were lacking

Loved the comic! It's been a long time and I'm happy.

I loved it and had all the volumes. I've lived in Goto, so I was nostalgic as the dialect and local scene were the same. The casual everyday interactions and heartwarming interactions of the islanders really sink into my heart. The characters are so good! Grandpa Naruto, the children in the neighborhood, Handa sensei, Hiroshi, the townspeople's family, Tama and the Akki siblings are all unique and interesting. They have a really good relationship, and even the grandmothers are all cute! I learned that a new publication will come out on the island this time ♪ (Thanks) I laughed aloud over and over again with my sense of humor intact. I'm really happy to be able to read everyone's after that (Hiroshi in particular). I read it in no time. Also, I want to read this story after that!

This review contains spoilers. I remember watching Handa-san in the anime so cool, but I felt that the comics were even younger and more cool, so I wanted to look back at the anime. Besides, Naru-chan is cute and funny. All the people on the island are nice people.

Realize the warmth of interaction between people

I was reading manga at the beginning of the series, and I watched anime over and over again. When I thought I was a little tired from relationships, I suddenly remembered it and bought it again. Handa-sensei gets used to the village more and more, and before I know it, the process of being loved by everyone as a villager is good! Also, I was healed by the cuteness of the children ♪ I really came to the warmth of interaction between people. Maybe it's good to read it when you're tired from relationships (laughs)

書の道

Path of calligraphy

This review contains spoilers.

This review contains spoilers. The main character is a young calligrapher. At the party after winning the award, a great man told him that his work was boring, and he violates him. If you let your father cool your head, you'll be driven to a remote island in Nagasaki. I thought I'd be able to immerse myself in calligraphy, but the islanders rush into my new house and it's hard to get alone. However, that interaction drastically changed his calligraphy. This work has also been made into an animation. Handa sensei, who is more childish than the children on the island, is very interesting.

It's a comic that I think I'm glad I read.

It was introduced in the “I Love Manga So Much I Want to Talk” section of The King's Brunch... I was curious and started reading it. I'm glad I read it. There are also scenes where I burst out laughing and... I burst into tears... was it a comic that you think you're glad you read?

It was a work where you could feel the island air.

I've read them all. I've never lived in real life, but it was a work that made me feel the atmosphere of an island. The seasons, the scenery... and the calligraphy is cool. A calligraphy class according to the textbook is good, but after all, Professor Handa, who makes works, is really nice.

Little by little

I've only read up to 3 volumes, but it's a work I want to carefully read little by little. I live in Goto as a calligrapher, and my dialect is stupid, and it's funny even if they talk about normal things. The many episodes that make a lot of use of that interesting setting, slow life, and human drama stories that seem to be boring are not annoying, boring, and very enjoyable to read.
