Good read overallThis one’s a fairly straightforward read for enjoyers of seeing an abused protag come into her own power. My one gripe is that the villains are all kinda the same flavor of toxic narcissism so there’s not much in the way of conflict variety so far. Easy to root for the mains and there’s a great amount of potential though!

Easy readPlot line follows the typical genre, but it’s what we’re here for, righr? Art work is nice. The updates are so sssllloooooowww to release is the only real negative to this story.

I want more!I love this story! I hate having to wait for more, I gotta know what happens. I love both of the characters and the world they're in. I was surprised with how much thought went into this world building.

Great Read for those who admire strong womenThis review contains spoilers. I love how this story is playing out, although the parade of those who get in the way is displeasing to think about Nanao having to put up with it. I like the Meiji era mixing with old folklore, especially with older traditions from 1000 added in for flavor.

Tsubaki Petals Are My ComfortThe Ayakashi Hunter's Tainted Bride is the type of narrative I absolutely adore! An arranged marriage where the two engaged eventually fall in love and what's even better is centred around ayakashi! Midori Yuma's story is complemented so well by the familiar art style of Mamenosuke Fujimaru!! I cannot wait to see how the love between Yako and Nanao blossoms like the camellias in the Benitsuki Gardens!
