This review contains spoilers. I'm a sucker for childhood friends stories. This one is pretty well written. Neither of the main characters is perfect. They're both stubborn and have a decent amount of pride. It's a somewhat realistic story of two people who love each other, but one takes it for granted the other one knows how he feels and the other one has a lot of self doubt and fear that saying her true feelings out loud will end their connection. Usually I hate misunderstanding tropes, but the way this story is written, it doesn't make me hate the
leads. When the ml finally lets go of his pride and stops putting the cart before the horse, it's super satisfying.
