Reviews for Land of the Lustrous Manga

This review contains spoilers. The beauty of gemstones is clearly depicted in volume 1. From there, little by little, they will understand this world, and what has become of humans will also be explained. However, what I want to say is that phosphophyllite is cute.

This review contains spoilers. It's a story that changes steadily from the beginning of reading, and there were times when it was difficult to read it. But I was saved by Fosse's last expression.

This review contains spoilers. The unique worldview and attractive characters are very good, but it becomes sad when you see quite a few depressing developments... the main character isn't rewarded in particular...

This review contains spoilers. I'm glad I kept chasing them, and I'm very impressed by the safe completion. It's a bit of fantasy action when you only look at volume 1, but I positioned this as a “Buddhist anecdote” as each volume unfolds. It's a story that doesn't make perfect sense, and it's a medium of thought. If I were to give it a title as an anecdote, it would probably be the picture book “Miroku Phosphophyllite” (like “The Life of Shaka Sama” or “Jigoku”). There are 108 episodes in total, after all. Since it is based on Buddhism, the evaluation of humans is very negative, and I think this world is a “difficult world,” and I think it is structured so that people move away from the reincarnation of karma and suffering and aim for nothfulness (nirvana, liberation). In order to depict a great presence within that structure, complete loneliness (starting with a scene where he is alone with “You Are Your Only Friend” in the first episode) and hardship have been given to Foss. Foss, who is a “lonely, weak being who can't do anything,” reaches enlightenment through a cute childhood, boy, and adolescence, and gains peace in the future. Physical exchange is necessary for Foss, which is a gemstone, to humanely “grow,” and it hurts my heart every time it is lost and acquired for that purpose, and in particular, it was terrifying to think that changing the head was implanted with ideas being instilled in college. Fos is a symbol of humanity, and we humans are also Fos. That Foss who saw the comet alone in the prairie is Foss, me, and you. Far beyond the time and place where the spiral is drawn, at the place where the ring closes, we probably encounter that “light up” mint color, and each progresses forward (Comet Ponce Brooks visited Earth at the end of the series). Other than that, it was very exciting to think about various things from a Buddhist perspective, such as King Enma, who is depicted in opposition to Jizo Bosatsu, Miroku Bosatsu who saves all sentient beings, the North Star that guides a person called Myoken Bosatsu, and the west shallow water (Sanzu River). ... it's just fine. As a child, I just can't forgive Eckmere, who instigated an innocent child named Foss and made him bear everything. What are you going to do to my kid. I don't like intentionally sacrificing an innocent child for the smallest sacrifice, the greatest happiness. Even if the story is out of harmony, I would like to cherish this anger and curse on my own helplessness. And even if it's impossible, I want to find a way for Lapis to be saved. ... 1000 characters isn't enough for writing at all. Horus constellation, Polar constellation, Polar monk constellation, Bodhisattva grandma.

This review contains spoilers. It was full of elements that made me cry from the onset of depression to the peaceful end. It's a wonderful work, so I hope many people will read it.

This review contains spoilers. There were a lot of heart-wrenching depictions, but at the end it ended with a radiant feeling. I think it was a work with strong Buddhist elements that gave readers a sense of liberation. I felt the pain, suffering, conflict and loneliness of going through, and the innocence of a heart freed from them

This review contains spoilers. The picture was beautiful and stuck. Neutral characters (although they don't actually have a gender) are good. I now know more about jewels. However, it's hard if you don't prepare for it to unfold. Fosse's self-sacrifice is too painful. The ending was reminiscent of the last in the comic “Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind.” it's deep...

This review contains spoilers. It's a story about how Foss grows up, and although the main character isn't a person, I think it's a story that makes you think about relationships between people ()

This review contains spoilers. How did the seniors who were chasing me in Ryatai maintain their emotions... when I first started reading Jewel Kingdom, I thought the battle between Jewels vs. Tsukijin would continue, and there were jewels I liked... Force... the world of inorganic things is clear and beautiful...

This review contains spoilers. It is a work depicting a beautiful view of the world and charming characters with unique pictures. Even though the picture isn't shining, it's amazing that it shows the brilliance of the characters, the light of the world view, and the dazzle with expressions that can never be expressed in other comics. And surprisingly, I can't read the further development of the story! As if body-blowing into a development imagined by the reader, far from being the exact opposite of the atmosphere of the illustration, it is a black development that seems to have boiled down the darkness, and oh... there is a distorting sound of dislike. I shouldn't have liked this at all. I can't stop reading about what will happen to the end of the world surrounding the main character, Phosphophyllite, and the developments that continue to update hopelessness.

This review contains spoilers. I can't recommend it to those who can't stand the poor appearance of the main character, but I think it's a really well-made work. Jealousy, vanity, feelings of inferiority... all kinds of negative feelings come at me. It's very interesting if you decipher it from Buddhist elements. Crap & Build... I think it would be interesting if the birth of life was vaguely like this.
