The Marshall Emperor and His Sacrificial Bride Manga Reviews

This review contains spoilers. The female lead is good-natured but basically like a naive doll. He sexually assaults her twice right off the bat, as if it's justified. She's just like "ok..." and in the next chapter she's talking about how secretly kind he is and how she wants to take care of him. He definitely wanted to humiliate and shame her, which isn't what "secretly kind" people do. It's hard to do nuance in a 5 episode story, so everything is going to be done as caricature with little depth: The spineless king, the evil queen, the jealous sister, the contradictory emperor, the evil general, the too pure and good secret princess etc. Don't expect too much, it goes exactly how you'd expect. Applying logic to this will only hurt your braincells.

This review contains spoilers. They are cute but story a little strange. They made him out to be so mean in the first 2 chapter, like assault abuse r*pe style. It made me really dislike him don't know how they are going to redeem his character, yet she somehow fell in love with him what? It's so werid, then she seems to be so physically attracted to him was werid. I can't see a reason why she would be so attracted to him he was literally not nice at all and forced himself on her to humiliate her. Then all of a sudden out of no where he suddenly wants her and they are saying they love each other. What? I guess one thing they are both the same just out of nowhere no reason suddenly is in love. I guess he did comment she looked like a fairy when he first saw her. Lol
