The Witch and the Beast

This review contains spoilers. 「

This review contains spoilers. It's a “witch” rather than “Beauty and the Beast,” and since it deals with witches, I thought there would be a dark feeling or insidious development, but the powerful scenes and dynamic developments of the characters were drawn very well, and I enjoyed it. After all, the drawing power is amazing, and although there are gross scenes, I think it's good at keeping it to the point where it doesn't bother me that much.

The pictures are beautiful and the content is interesting. However, the picture is so beautiful, and especially in the battle scenes, it's so spectacular that I'm in trouble because I don't know who's who and what's what.

Battle with witches.

The main character, cursed by a witch, fights witches in various places while searching for that witch. I've only read volume 1, so I feel like there's still more to come in terms of content. It's like dark fantasy, so there are some places that are pretty gross.

That was great

I couldn't keep up with the worldview, so I read it all over for the first time in a long time. You won't get bored! It's interesting. It made me want to continue reading it again.

the kind I like...

It's my favorite kind of dark fantasy. I've only read up to 2 volumes, so I still haven't grasped the full picture. There are also parts that are a bit gross, but (personally) it's not a heavy depiction, so it's easy to read.

It's a cool character and story ♦

The characters and story are cool ♦ Even though she's a beautiful girl, what's inside is a wild beast, and her entanglement with her partner is interesting too? Also, there were parts that made me think, including witches' senses different from humans and the superficiality of humans themselves.

面白い

interesting

I started reading it because I was curious about what would happen at first, but I was drawn to the worldview, and I wanted to read more. I'm also curious who Kido is.

Stories centered around Fanoras and witches are interesting, but...

Until the time Fanola (Necromancer) first came out, the pictures were careful, each line was drawn properly, and the story was worked out. I was directly involved with the witch Angela, and when vampires came out, the picture and story flow were already so messy that I thought I'd stop buying them. I think the story picked up a bit around the time the living dolls came out, but the picture was still as messy as ever.

I'm worried about the continuation!!

I remember trying reading it a long time ago!! The pictures were beautiful, and it was a work I was interested in, and I'm glad I was able to read it again. Recommended for those who like dark fantasy.

Witches are scary

Good witches, brutal witches, executioners who kill witches regardless of right or wrong. A story about witches. Be careful if you don't like splatter! Both the corpses and the killing scenes are messy.

Good view of the world

It is a work that feels like a compilation of various stories related to witches in a world where undead are legal and there is murder and salvation by witches. Although there is a main story, there are occasional sub-stories where a different character becomes the main character. It's not an omnibus, but every story is moist, and full of joy and sorrow. It's a bit bland and lacks ups and downs, so I feel like it's a work that chooses people.

The picture is beautiful

The pictures and world view are beautiful and easy to read. It feels like dark fantasy, and if you read it over and over again, you'll be surprised at how clean the foreshadows are collected.
