Dude tries to kill her and then thinks an apology can make up for it. I don’t like how she forgives him either. Wether fantasy, or reality, I’m not into forgiving the unforgivable. Especially not when it’s later dressed up as “love”. I guess if he had never fallen in love with her, he would not have felt guilty about trying to kill her. And in all her past lives the way in which he treated her abusively is disgusting. Eight lives. This is not a cute story. This is a story about forgiving and tolerating past abuse, and accepting love as an excuse for it.
