Unknown world

The setting is aimed at teens, but the competitive scene is quite impressive.

Chihayafuru is...

I started to love painting in Chiba. But I'm starting to get addicted to pufferfish... I also went to see a movie. The live action is perfect for everyone

Meet and grow

I also feel depressed here and there, but I think it's a place where readers can sympathize with the protagonist's Kazunaga, friendships, bonds, etc., but it's been a bit long...

It's plain, but everyone has their youth

Unlike general sports, to be honest, competitive karuta is plain and not very popular. However, even though they are fictional characters, I also want to work hard to support Chihaya and his friends, who are devoting all of their youth to this competition karuta. The sight of them working so hard even in plain things is so beautiful, and I think this is youth.

Even though it's a manga, the power of taking karuta is so impressive! I'm looking forward to seeing rivals coming out now! (*>ested<*)

If you read

When I was in elementary school, my teacher wrote this manga in the morning, so everyone read it. Everyone said it was interesting, and we got into a fight. I think the development and pictures are very nice.

I was watching the live action, so I hadn't read it. It reminded me of my youth.

面白い

interesting

This work was so famous that I didn't read it the other way around. I started reading it without knowing anything about competitive karuta, but I learned that it was a competition that required both physical strength and intelligence, and I thought it was very deep and interesting as a sport. I'd like to try it if I get a chance... but where can I do it...?

After all, it's a girls' comic, but it's a good work

From my point of view, who actually does competitive karuta, I think it's actually not that easy, but I think it's a good work in terms of getting people interested in competitive karuta and the classical world. However, since they tend to pull up one topic, they may not be suitable for impatient people.

I don't know anything about karuta, but the story is interesting, and it's nice that it's drawn at a good tempo.

Competition karuta

It was also made into a movie. It's a story about competitive karuta, and it's interesting to understand the rules. I hope the tempo gets a little faster.

Growth story

There is also romance, but there is stoicism like shonen manga, and it depicts the growth of various people. There are also a lot of quotes, and I like the fact that there are parts that link to the karuta interpretation and story. Kana-chan often explains her interpretation of karuta, and it became detailed in Hyakunin Isshu! I didn't know the world of karuta at all, but I became interested in it from Chihayafuru. I'm looking forward to the continuation.

It was my favorite comic

Honestly, recent developments are just uneasy about how they will end... I was at a loss with ★ 3, but it hasn't been completed yet, so it's ★ 4. I think it's the fate of long-term serialization, but I feel that the power balance has been disrupted too much. I believe that the artist will draw it.

???

This film has been mixed in various media, such as anime adaptations and live-action adaptations. I think the beauty of the pictures and the ease of being drawn into the story are by far the best.

It can also be used as a study!

I didn't know the world of competitive karuta was so deep. Of course, the story also has tears, laughter, and love, but it's also a learning experience! I learned a lot of things, starting with the phrase “Chihayafuru Kamishiro: Tatsuta River Unknown.”
