Needs moreI think this is one of the cases where a manga adaptation was not the move. It feels like a lot of important details are missing to make things make sense. There is one frame however of the main guy that brings uncontrollable laughter so thanks for that.

There's no reason for her to love this manThis review contains spoilers. At no point except the end did he show her any redeeming character traits, otherwise he was just distrustful with absolutely no evidence for why he shouldn't trust her and he continued it until literally the end.
