    Cue mean girls
This review contains spoilers. All this build up about trusting her girlfriend, and knowing what I do about mean middle school girls...I see something bad down the line here. Plus abusive mom...Akiko is in for it.

I haven't read it all yet, but so far it's good.

    This made my stomach hurt.
This review contains spoilers. The name is pretty spot on. Don't go in expecting a tragic romance like "Happy Sugar Life" "Love my cruddy" or "I love amy". This has no happy ending of any kind, it barely even has an end. It's vary sad the MC didn't deserve what happens to her, because of some lie, it's even worse that the love interest never corrects her life so MC wouldn't have to go though her school life as a social outcast.

Don't read if you don't like unhappy endings
This review contains spoilers. It's honestly heartbreaking, like nothing goes well for Akiko. I don't really blame Haruki, the love interest, for how she reacted - she was forced into a stereotype she didn't enjoy and then went along with a joke that went too far. But she was cruel for starting (at least I think she started it)/perpetuating a cruel rumour and then was homphobic on top of crushing Akiko. And then for Akiko, she clung to Haruki in an unhealthy was because her mother is abusive and she feels lost and alone, only to have the person she cared for hurt her so badly.

Like it's well written but there's nothing happy about this story and I don't know if the tags reflect that. Not every story has to have a point and not every story has to have a happy ending, but I don't see the point in this story. There's no silver lining, Akiko gets hurt and that's where it ends.
