Ginko-san is a handsome guy

I was worried at first; I read it to an extent, but I couldn't stop. It's a fictional story, but I'm under the illusion that it's not strange that there are insects in reality lol. The settings for insects and how to deal with them are also persuasive. I highly recommend it.

everyone was right

It was such a good work that I made my kids want to read it. I agree that the difficulty is that it's hard to read. I wish there was a sequel. There were a lot of stories, and I was worried that it wouldn't work after buying it, but was it a good shopping and encounter?

Japan is far away now

It wasn't supposed to be that long ago, but now it's set in a time that was long ago. Something you can see and touch, and even though it certainly exists, it is neither a plant nor an animal... a bug. Insects bring happiness and sorrow to people. Through Mushishi and Ginkgo, the suffering, sorrow, kindness, and happiness of people obsessed with insects is slowly conveyed. The pictures with a unique touch further add to the atmosphere. It's such a thoughtful story that seems to bring back something lost.

Betrayed in a good way

This review contains spoilers.

This review contains spoilers. It was more occult, and when I thought the content was grotesque, it was completely different. I'm not scared (*^^*). I was betrayed in a good way. I love Hyakki Yagyosho, so I fell in love with this work too. The events that occur where a mushi (with many mysteries) called Ginkgo travels are actually written bluntly. It makes me think about an imperfect creature called a human being. I think everyone will feel many things if they read it, such as the symbiosis between humans and nature, connections between people, things necessary for operation and life, and important things that have been forgotten. I was steadily drawn to the world of the work. As I read on, I was surprised that so many feelings and thoughts sprang up, contrary to the fact that the work progressed quietly and bluntly. The setting is an age of self-sufficiency and kimonos, but Ginko only has modern costumes and language, and it's a strange world. Above all else, please read it once rather than explain it. This work is too difficult to explain in words. Please try to “experience” it.

A creature called a “insect”

“Bugs” live with people in an age and place you never know. They live with people and sometimes make people suffer. When such “bugs” appear, a man named Ginkgo shows up. I've never seen a comic like this before. Sometimes it vividly shows the importance and transience of life, and sometimes the darkness of the heart lurking in humans through “bugs.” The unique view of the world that oozes out of the picture further shows the wobble nature of “bugs” and the power of life. Recommended for both men and women.

end (? _?)

I watched it on a TV anime, and I was addicted to it because I liked the mysterious worldview, so I started reading it... is it over? I love the mysterious protagonist, Ginkgo ✨ The episode that comes up every time is also slightly gross and sad, so I just read it? Would you recommend it?

I like the worldview, an unlikely world with retro nostalgia, and I'm drawn into that unique world. It's like episode 1 is complete, so it's easy to read, and the bugs have a good taste

Strange nostalgia

This work is about a different world, like modern Japan... The retro atmosphere that drifts here and there, the strange behavior of the insects, and the story that fits in a circle at the end is indescribable and comfortable.

? Unknown Gentleman's review?

The calm atmosphere makes readers blend into their own unique world before they know it. Something lingered even after I finished reading it. The drawing is also stable, and I can read it smoothly. It's better not to expect any erotic scenes or flashy action, but I definitely want you to read not just one episode but every episode of this comic.

this indescribable view of the world. The power of a picture is as if an insect is moving. I want people to watch every episode without missing it.

Oira is also a Mushi-shi

This is a work I want you to read carefully. However, it is a work you can feel rather than read it with your head. Readers themselves ruminate on the interaction between people through insects, and they should be able to enjoy “Mushishi” in the true sense of the word by imagining it from there.

A profound story

I used to have the entire volume on paper, and it was a heavy, large comic, and I felt sorry to let go of it. A memorable comic, a comic that leaves a lingering afterglow that makes me think that things that have happened in Japan since ancient times might be like this

蟲

Bugs

Humans and bugs live at the mercy of life and death. Even though it's an omnibus format with one complete episode, it's fun that I can't stop reading it.

A unique view of the world!

Even though there aren't many explanatory depictions, it has a worldview that only convinces me of the existence of insects that don't exist in this world, and I think it's a one-of-a-kind work. The main character gets involved with various people and insects as he travels, but not everything works out. There are also stories that end very sadly. The main character itself also has an enigmatic appeal, and it makes me want to read it one more episode after another. There is no doubt that it will become a habit.

I want to read slowly

It was a quiet story. Still, I like the protagonist's way of life, his past, the path he walks... while it's warm, he lives by accepting providence.

If you like Nuka, I think you'll enjoy it.

This review contains spoilers.

This review contains spoilers. The everyday lives of insects and people intersect. It's such a strange world where you don't know where the boundaries are. It's not as flashy as specters, but it's a work you can read with a quiet feeling.
