Reviews for Ajin: Demi-Human Manga

This review contains spoilers. The story is interesting! However, the picture is horror, horror. It's realistic, but it's a bit gross... it's not a story, and it seems like you can tell likes and dislikes with pictures.

This review contains spoilers. It was fun halfway through. It's common in battle systems, but I have the impression that in the second half, the more unreasonable developments, or scenes where anything goes, increased.

This review contains spoilers. It realistically depicts how the environment completely changes as soon as you become an “Ajin,” and it was insanely scary. It was discovered that if you didn't die, you wouldn't know if you were an “Ajin,” but at the end of the day, if they were chased and captured by humans, they were tested, and if they were not compatible, they had to confront and fight, and peaceful days never came again. And it's so rough that even if I want to die, I can't even die, it's only hell... (crying). I'm very worried about the future of Nagai, who was suddenly discovered to be an “Ajin,” but the numerous grotesque depictions that come from not dying were so tough that I was frustrated until volume 3. If the confrontation with Sato intensifies, the glossiness doesn't seem to be what it is now, and I want to read more, but I still don't have the courage right now...

This review contains spoilers. I think it's an irresistible work for those who like this feeling of science fiction or suspense. Once you die, you don't know if you're Ajin or not, and Ajin isn't treated as just a human. I died once in front of the public in such a world, and many people watched the moment I came back to life... It was an irresistible work even after just reading episode 1.

This review contains spoilers. At first, I thought there would be no human smell in this work. I wonder if it's just an inorganic horror, suspense, mystery solving, or something. However, there were a few scenes where I unwittingly shed tears. Tozaki, who initially thought he was a bad guy, actually included surprisingly many things such as the fact that all of his actions were for his beloved lover, the fact that he acted for Nagai and the others despite being in danger, the brave deaths of the good-looking men, the thick and firm cohesion of the men on the Nagai side, their strong beliefs and determination, the bond that developed between Tanaka and Shimomura, and the strong friendship... However, after all, the intense brain battle between Nagai and Sato is probably the true essence of this work. Sato just came as a surprise. It makes me cringe until the final stage. I never got tired of it and it was fun.

This review contains spoilers. Ajin is a hot topic at school. No way, I can't believe I was an “Ajin”... I was hit by a truck on my way home from school and instantly died, but I came back to life and was witnessed “being immortal.” The protagonist is robbed of his rights as a “human” from the moment he is certified as the third “Ajin” in Japan, and is targeted for capture. An escape drama begins, partly with the cooperation of a friend. The protagonist, who doesn't want to involve his friend who even had an accident any further, asks another person for help. However, in order to instill “hatred” against humans in the main character, they are captured by humans as experimental materials. The abilities of Immortal Ajin, which are revealed one after another, are interesting. The protagonist's emotional changes in the midst of betrayal and bargaining are interesting.

This review contains spoilers. No matter how many times they don't die, they still kill them over and over again. Like killing them by inflicting as much pain as possible. It's a work that really makes me feel sick, but I can't stop reading it.
