The blonde childhood friend who is in love with her and the dull-in-disguise kid are a huge part of Mako's new surroundings. She is supported by the tenants of the boarding house and after a boldness overload from her resulting in an awkward situation, the guy wearing frames slowly warms up to her. While almost dating her childhood friend she uncovers the secrets of Amemura. This stirs up trouble for the trio but eventually he learns to be ok showing his face and that the other two may not share mutual feelings.
