Review for hireContrary to the cover and the title, the first chapter had a somber feeling to it. A budding friendship that could blossom into love. I feel every girl should have the knowledge, skills and strength to be able to defend themselves the way that Kodakamine can, even though she also did it to defend someone else.

It has its momentsYes, this story has shojo tropes. No, it's not annoying to read them. Why? Because they aren't utilized very much in this story as much as they would be in other, longer series. Although, if you like FMLs who can defend themselves, I'd say to check this one out.
