Reviews for Descending Stories Manga

The tempo of the story is light and fun. It's a work you can enjoy even if you don't know anything about rakugo.

I'm addicted to watching anime. I thought the story of Shinigami was interesting, so I changed my mind that rakugo is interesting.

I'm not familiar with rakugo at all. I don't have any expertise, etc., so it's easy for me to stick with, there's no particular sense of incongruity, and it's fun to read. It's also a good read.

I had bought it electronically until halfway through another site, but I bought all the volumes again this way. This work makes you want to reread it over and over again. The anime and dramas were really good ♦

I'm really interested in rakugo, and I'm planning to go to an actual vaudeville show as well. The sight of them pushing forward with the arts is very attractive

It carefully depicts people's emotions, and the story is easy to read. It was fun watching Yotaro grow more and more as a person. I think it's a comic that ended very pleasantly because the stories from the past were also well written.

I watched the drama and it was interesting, so I was curious about the original story. I like the teacher's BL works and I read them, and they were really good too. The dramas were good too, so I want them to watch both.

In that sense, he's a famous writer, isn't he? The pattern and story go great with the theme, and it's also excellent for cultural learning, I wonder

You can experience the depth of flavor, depth, and fun of the art of rakugo. The way of life of people who fell in love with rakugo hits my heart!! Recommended for those who don't know rakugo

The story and background are detailed, and it's fun to read. I think it's a well-crafted work.

I read this comic and learned how interesting rakugo is! Can you read both the past and current editions without getting tired of it?

When I started reading volume 1, I honestly felt like a picture like an old shonen manga, and no matter how interesting the story was, I was a little uneasy about whether I would be addicted to this pattern... I gradually couldn't take my eyes off the entanglement between the characters, and the pictures became more and more refined while retaining their flavor, and everyone wanted to keep an eye on what would happen in the future! It has become my favorite work. The sexiness of Yakumo was really impressive. Such a stylish person is wonderful. And not only is it wonderful, but it also feels like a human drama projected through rakugo where the negative parts of humans are firmly incorporated and I feel even more depth. It is a work that makes you think about rakugo and, by extension, the succession of Japanese culture and traditional performing arts.

I wasn't really interested in rakugo, but when I started reading it, I was drawn in all at once. It's so realistic, it's funny, it's sad... it's awesome.

I think it's a story you can enjoy even if you don't really understand rakugo. Each character is unique and interesting.

It's a story where you can feel the meaning of continuing to take things over from person to person. I once again felt the horror of losing people who continued to preserve traditions, and the meaning of creating something new. Rakugo is actually really interesting!

The view of the world is so very nice! I don't know how good rakugo is, but it makes me want to listen to rakugo

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. The comics and dramas are great. It's beautiful without being hectic.

This is the only work I've read by this author, but I'm really impressed that rakugo, where “sound” and “voice” are important, are expressed so well in comics. I like the content and characters, but it's personally worth paying for just the expressions in rakugo.

I watched it in anime a few years ago and I really like it. The anime was great, but the original story was also interesting!
