It's really easy to understand

I wanted to read it when I was a student. It's a work where I could have understood the human body I'm not interested in even more. I enjoyed it.

I want to use it as a teaching material!

It's probably a manga you should read anyway. If it were a depiction of a little less blood, it would definitely be a science teaching material!

Easy to understand even for me in the humanities

A fun and learning work that personifies the function of the body. Of course adults can read it, but I recommend it to children, especially students. Cell names and their functions don't come right, but you can easily understand and remember just because they are character names and character characteristics. It's also strong that it's comedic without being rigid. I want adults to watch the spin-off “Cells at Work BLACK” (2021 anime). I really think I'll review my daily lifestyle and become healthy...

The fun of anthropomorphism

I read a comic in the anthropomorphic genre for the first time, and it was really interesting! Set in an unbelievably solid worldview called the inside of the human body, the characteristics of each cell are nicely expressed in the character's personality as is, and I was surprised that such a simple and interesting story could be created. It is also quite popular among health care workers.

So much so that I forget it's anthropomorphic

You can see it by comparing it with the numerous derivative variants created by taking advantage of popularity. The theme of this work is not anthropomorphic. White blood cells, red blood cells, and viruses that have invaded the body are not simply comics that “just talk with an appearance similar to humans.” The reason why the individuality of the characters, modeled according to their characteristics, is appealing is because the story in which they move is solid. Also, since the story leaves an impression, the mechanism of circulation in the body and the mechanism of immunity will probably stay in memory even after reading it. It's not overly gross or, of course, erotic, and I can recommend it to elementary school children. I heard that the movie version of the anime will be released in the fall of 2020, and I reviewed it with nostalgia.

It's easy to understand and fun!

How the body works. ・A story about cells. The anthropomorphic cells are all charming and cute. I thought that was the appeal of this work. It's an informative liberal arts manga, and it's the strongest work because it's interesting!
