"But don't you know, Masaki? Pottery will never be the same once it's broken." One day, Manami's husband, Masaki, suddenly suggests to move back to the countryside where his parents live. Manami hesitates at first. When she met his parents for the first time, she remembers the town's old-fashioned customs and how they look down on women. In the end, she decides to go with Masaki, hoping that once they settle down, it would bring sex back into their relationship. But even after returning to the countryside, Masaki goes out drinking with his friends until late at night. And to top it all off, he's starting to look down on Manami, just like his father and brother. He even broke a special plate that Manami made as a child with her mom and sister.
