I usually give it a chance, but it either tends to be lacking in plot, character, and depth, or just plain boring/surface-level revenge comeuppance. I often wonder if I am just a picky person or if I really am constantly having to sift through cash grab or poorly written injustice/revenge stories. This is the first manga I spent money for on here that was very well worth the read and I would like to follow. The art is well done and the finer plot points feel thought out, purposeful, and not cookie cutter. I also appreciate that the story does not constantly bore me with manufactured conflict that doesn't have any purpose other than stoking the flames of injustice for the main character or some flimsy misunderstandings. I enjoy seeing the main female lead coming into her own with a healthy and supportive male lead. I don't even mind how almost too-perfect they are or the clichés one might spot. This story is uplifting, fluffy, and warming for the soul, and I suspect it was intended to be. I am very appreciative of this work and I hope more chapters release in the near future because it was definitely worth my time and money.(3)

Poor Louise has it even worse than Cinderella did, but she also has that same pure heart you love to root for. It's great watching her slowly gain back her sense of self and heal from her trauma, all with literal prince charming Lucius standing guard by her side. The way they geek out together over magic tools is the icing on the cake. I can't wait to see the evil twin sister (and incompetent younger prince) get taken down so Louise can have her happily ever after!
