Story :  Maru (Yuki Maruoka) is an honest, straightforward girl inexperienced when it comes to love. One day, she becomes witness to a groping incident on the train. She goes up to confront the offender, but not before a handsome, young fellow nearby calls him out for his actions. The two somehow manage to drive the man away. But right afterwards, in a baffling turn of events, the boy asks Maru to go out with him. Although Maru, flustered, rejects him in the spur of the moment, she slowly becomes drawn to his kind and sincere personality. She then discovers that he's an older student attending her high school, also known by some as "Mr. Perfect"! When she finds him again to apologize, she inadvertently ends up blurting out, "Why don't we start as friends"? A sugary sweet romantic comedy following the antics that ensue between Maru and a mature, older boy in school solely focused on winning her heart, showering her with special attention and kindness at every chance he gets.

Slow down a minute, Mr Review
This review contains spoilers. The manga starts in an annoyingly overused way, but the growing relationship between the leads looks like a good read. While this was my first assumption, this was one of those stories that had a lot wrong of things with it, but i just wanted to keep reading. In the beginning I thought that the guy seemed to be messing with her emotions because she kept feeling like she was in the wrong and all she did was walk away from a situation that made her feel awkward as he kept getting a little too close for comfort. But she kept insisting that she had to apologize even though she did nothing wrong. However, the more you read and when he explains his reasons behind his feelings you do start to see that he is genuine. Although seeing him turn from being shy and blushing to outright having no filter felt like his fluffy side was just pretend (even though he said in the beginning he did it as a way to get her attention). Knowing that he also has a real side made the later fluffy moments seem less genuine even though they were.

    Super wholesome!
I love this one! The love interest isn't toxic, the MC is not weak and emotional, and there are several LOL moments. Such a good read!

    Patience is a virtue
A sweet story! Patience is a virtue, and it is so cute to see the insecurity of a character blossom and change as well. Courage was not attained in a day! Shiomi is so patient with an outgoing but still very shy Mura!
Can't wait to see additional chapters.
