Wild ride

This review contains spoilers. I've had a really hard time in the first half and wanted to quit the whole time, but continued reading because I was still hooked and needed to know if it would get in the direction I hoped for. Yu was really "annoying" at the beginning, because he was soulless and depressing passiv, therefore I'm really happy about his character development and most importantly the development of Jun really put my heart at ease, even if it's a little over the top somewhen. I love that they're finally going all lovey-dovey and cute with each other finally, though their relationship was more than toxic, but somehow it's comforting me and let's me dream again of the possibility for people to change. The story has ups and downs, but somehow everything turns out right in the end, the bad people get what they deserve and everything comes to terms. I also like the artstyle and for me this was really unique and different to everything I've read before. Although the pregnancy is a little much abstruse, I'm still looking forward to see how the fairytale goes on.

Engaging characters, but...

The translation to English could really use some help, it takes you out of the story from time to time. The story itself is just "ok"

A Manhua with certain aspects

You know there are many complaining about this...but this is no Manga nor Manwha... it's a Manhua .... now it's time for confusion... because the term Manhua refers to Chinese manga. Over all their stories are very different and refreshing and so is the silent concubine! Of cause there are many cliches in the story and some things are repeatetive ... But that's the charm of it! The story setting is ancient China so many intrigues take place... The plotting if villains ... The jealousy... Yes yes ..you might ask "but why doesn't he just get rid of that person if he knows they're scheming against x/y" ... well it's so that we can get worked up about it .... After all it's kind of a story setting thing with the time frame that it's like it is ... No matter how many times the villains are punished... they'll still do the same things over and over.... Like people IRL.... And they only learn the hard way. ... Back on topic now... It's a great work I like it though I read it on a different platform before I can still recommend it !

Beautifully drawn, terrible story

Great drawings but the "love" story is repetitive, the main character is insanely boring and the whole thing is an eternal series of main character gets sick, faints and has to be nursed back to health by the bad boy love interest. What's more, new guys keep turning up, all of whom naturally fall in love with the boring male main character. I don't understand why the main character is male at all, he has all the cliché attributes of a female character. Now that he's also supposed to get pregnant, I'm out. He could have been created as a woman right away. What's more, the whole love story is highly toxic and problematic.

Bluh

The translation is not that good and it feels poorly placed. If there are scenes missing I would not be surprised. One star for character design and one for the idea of the story, though it was not executed well. Dropping this!

A weird one

It is not a traditional manga or manhwa as it is not sectioned in action boxes but in full page illustrations with speech bubbles thus the many chapters. It is a lovely artwork and I guess the format allows the easy and more beautiful colouring I would love to see an anime out of it despite the weird details.

I am taken

This story has me hooked. I am in love with the plot. I do wish it didn't feel rushed however. My goodness I hate the princess and wish the worst death she could possibility get with her brother.

Captivating!! Gorgeous manhua

I'm in love! Please give it a try. The characters development, the design, the colors, beautiful!
The translation is sometimes a little rough but not terrible! This manhua is so worth it

Worth it

The translation/localization is quite rough on this one, but the art and story are definitely worth it. Lots of character development and even the side characters are well fleshed out. Really enjoy it!
