Miyabi's Four Engagements Manga Reviews

This review contains spoilers. It's a really good story and I really enjoy it, but I feel like she is only going with one guy and the rest haven't even had a chance with her. Also the issues about what happened between the two brothers wasn't totally clear because it doesn't show who was doing the talking since it doesn't show the direction that the bubble comes from. I may be dumb I guess, but I couldn't tell which one was supposed to be illegitimate.
I hope that the others will get their chance. Because right now it's all one sided to the point that the other three (not including the brother) aren't even in the story anymore.
I hope to see more of your story soon. I can't wait to see who she ends up choosing.

This review contains spoilers. Definitely feels unfinished as others have said. The SA aspect from all the dudes is definitely hard to get over. It made me uncomfy. Also, such a missed opportunity for *consensual* sexy poly type stuff, but there's really only one scene with that. Kinda boring with the just holding onto the first guy she has sex with. Also we don't really get to know the guys really at all... This had potential but really fell short unfortunately.

Sadly, she didn’t give any of the other guys a fair chance before she got stuck on the first dude that assaulted her. I felt like the black-haired childhood friend was the best option - it’s a shame because he respected her as a person the most and didn’t force himself on her.

The story was too rushed and didn’t give the other characters any attention. No backstory for the third blonde guy. Those pictures remain unexplained - I was expecting the “girl” that the FL used to play with as a kid to be actually the ML, but it’s an unsolved mystery. We also don’t see the picture she picks up from the floor. Doesn’t make sense that the ML is the legitimate son when he is second-born and his mother was a mistress.

The moms must have been out of their minds because how do you come up with our kids will be together when there’s an odd number of moms? Even if there were two guys, three girls / three guys / two girls, there would be an odd one out.

Saying more of the same: missed potential to explore characters (she doesn't get to know any of them, not even the one she chooses basically because he was the first to touch her), missed opportunity to explore consensual polyamory, last character dropped into the mix just made no sense and how easy it was to discourage him even less, AND it felt unfinished.
I have nothing against humpfests, but it would be nice for them to actually fit into/have repercussions in the story.

"You say no but your nipples don't say the same thing" How disgusting. Felt very sick in my stomach in the firsts episodes, no, thank you. (I had It with premium, glad didnt pay for this exact manga)
