This is a good portrait of what happens to women who are repeatedly assaulted/raped/abused/trafficked. They begin to developed depravity issues which ultimately lead to self-destructive personality disorders brought on by trauma. They become one who associates feelings and emotions only in intimacy and thus constantly seek it.

As for the one doing the Rape, abuse, trafficking or assaulting, they often are seeing the woman as a prized treasure to control or possess by manipulation of the woman's emotional outcome through intimacy, they feel the power of control and dominance.

This was the picture perfect display of an all too common issue that is seen in the world today. Woman are threatened to keep quiet and others are manipulated into belief that the woman is not as good as she seems, so she must be at fault which raises the the abuser to a higher level of control.

Unfortunately, this also causes a lot of suicides and thousands of predators to walk amongst us due to a lack of reports.

I would like to say, thank you for raising awareness, but also, disturbing for anyone who sees this as an S&M story of dominance.

He should have been marrying her instead and use his entire life to protect and make up to her instead it’s not the outcome I’ve expected. What a waste of money! How do I get a refund!?!

This review contains spoilers. I liked it!!! The main character isn’t the best but I hope that he gets karma or something…maybe. He seems to be having a character development but he needs to apologize to her. Anyways I actually will keep reading hopefully they keep going even tho it says complete.
