  Grow big!

It's quite difficult to describe Nahoko Uehashi's work in words. If I try to sum it up in one word, it will inevitably become a cliché word based on my vocabulary. When I started reading it, I was overwhelmed by the sense of the world. The suffering and happiness of the people living in that world are also carefully spun out, and they are more and more immersed in the world. So much so that I could feel the protagonist's breathing right there. The King of the Deer has been mentioned in many places, but for Uehashi Nahoko, it's a work that is slightly aimed at adults. Therefore, expressions that are slightly difficult come up, but they also give the story a profound feeling, and it fits perfectly into this story. I get the impression from where I look at it, but it's really interesting. I'm glad I came across it, and this is one of the works I want many people to read.

  interesting

I feel like everything in the story is connected by chance and miracle. They are connected in unexpected places, such as the protagonist's travels and political movements.

A fantasy with a solid weight

It was so interesting that I spared no time reading it (up to 4 volumes). Clean sentences and a well-crafted grand world and story. I think the best fantasy writer in Japan.
