The entire premise of the story is an empire that uses arranged mating, how th are you gonna complain about non-con? Let alone the fact the fl and ml are, and have been in love their whole lives. They both want it. This manga is sweet and their relationship is hot and covet-worthy. 10/10(23)

Oct 18, 2026 (PST) | Total Reviews: 1DNF after one chapterThis review contains spoilers. I read plenty of adult romance on MP, but I couldn’t get past the story premise. Are these even humans? What’s a reasonable justification for this society? It’s all for the shock value. It’s beyond belief. PWP is fine if you wanna write that. Don’t pretend you know how to world-build! As a fantasy/sci-fi reader, this flimsy plot device (to get the ML and FL together) annoys me. You can do better. There are better versions of this.
Seems like this is for people who like pining, misunderstandings and dubcon. No judgement. Like I said there are stories that have a forced relationship/marriage plot device that are better than this story.
Edit: The next two chapters were free. I wanted to give it another shot to convince me. It didn’t. A few more details were given about the mate system. Still makes no sense. Isn’t this just forced arranged marriages? Uses the term “mates” but there’s no soulmates/magical attraction or Alpha/Omega dynamics or werewolves/animal people/etc to explain it.
At the end of the 3rd chapter the ML is guilty over how he jealously uses the FL to punish her for “having feelings” for another guy. He’s delusional. I call a spade a spade. Trash is trash. If he was really sorry, he wouldn’t be so violent with her. He’s a normal guy; it’s not like there’s any extenuating circumstances. He’s just a jerk.(1)

Mar 01, 2026 (PST) | Translate to English小説で読んで好きだった作品です。設定的にもTLなんでしょうが、ストーリー的に楽しめると思います。分冊版より単行本の方が丁寧に描かれているから分かりやすいかも。3巻まで出てるんですね。ユリウスとコルネリア様が漫画ではどう描かれているか興味あるので今度買ってみようかな。(1)
