I've read all the books in the series, but this one is by far the best, and I love it, and it's really good as a comic! So I recommend Taihen. The beautiful girl Zell, who is the main character of this film, and the group of 3 people who have fallen behind met, became friends, and sometimes fell apart... every time, they were also harassed and happy, and my heart was really moved. Wandering Dog is awesome!! Also, I wanted to read other works by this author.
