It’s chaotic, over-the-top, and full of ridiculous romantic tension, but somehow it works. The childhood friends are intense (maybe too intense), but their affection feels strangely sincere underneath all the physical comedy and madness.
I went in expecting a silly romcom and ended up enjoying the emotional undercurrents too — especially the main girl's confusion as she re-evaluates the boys she thought she had all figured out. If you like possessive love interests, fast-paced scenes, and some borderline absurd humor, this manga is a fun ride. Just don't expect subtlety — it’s pure, unfiltered shoujo drama turned up to eleven.(1)
