  Naive Dye Craftsman x Red Light District Nikaishimashi
  This review contains spoilers. 明治初頭の吉原を舞台に、色恋より着物に興味を持つ染物職人・藤二郎×遊郭で生まれ育った二階廻し・一之介。一見ドライで非情なようで、心の内では遊女の行く末を憂えて自身のことも嫌悪している一之介が、藤二郎との出会いで優しく本心を暴かれていく。詳しくないので実際どうかは分かりませんが、この時代のことをよく調べられている印象。捻くれているけど本当は優しい一之介が、一生懸命自分を悪者にしようとするのが見ていて切ない。なにを言われてもまっすぐ一之介を見てくれる藤二郎がいてよかったなあ。ラストは少し都合がいいくらいの終わり方ですが、読後感がよくて私は好きでした。遊郭の中は基本的に明るく活気のある描写が多くて読みやすかったです。ただ恋愛部分は焦れったいくらいゆっくり進むのがよかった分、いきなり出来上がってしまったのが残念。そこはもう少しじっくり読みたかったな。

Set in Yoshiwara in the early Meiji period, the dye craftsman Tojiro, who is more interested in kimonos than love love, and Nikaisukai Ichinosuke, was born and raised in the red light district. At first glance, Ichinosuke seems dry and ruthless, and in his heart he is worried about the future of the prostitute and hates himself, and his true feelings are gently revealed when he meets Tojiro. It's not detailed, so I don't know if it actually is, but I have the impression that this period has been carefully investigated. It's sad to watch Ichinosuke, who is twisted but actually kind, try so hard to make himself the bad guy. I'm glad Tojiro looked straight at Ichinosuke no matter what was said. The last one is a slightly convenient way to end, but I liked it because it had a good feeling after reading it. Basically, there were many bright and lively depictions inside the red light district, so it was easy to read. However, it was good that the love part progressed so slowly that I felt impatient, so it was a pity that it suddenly came to an end. I wish I had read that a little more carefully.
