Matsumoto is the ace pitcher of the baseball team. Sakaki is a third-year upperclassman who looks after Matsumoto like a wounded dog, having him do his biddings from time to time. Matsumoto finds himself tamed by Sakaki, the lone head of the gardening club, during his rehabilitation period, upon which Matsumoto is allowed to return to the regular lineup. Sakaki congratulates him and tells him that he will be released from his errandboy duties, leading Matsumoto, who's defiled Sakaki many times in his mind, to refuse being let go.

Jul 13, 2025 (PST) | Total Reviews: 13adorableThis review contains spoilers. Cute story, love when a story has multiple climaxes (huhuhu) and a satisfying ending.
The second part after they graduated had me feeling so sad for the villain! Poor angy old man. Loved to see them work through the hardships though

Jul 31, 2025 (PST) | Total Reviews: 21Don't understand but somehow like itI don't really understand most of the characters. I got the feeling that clear thoughts or talks or explanation were striked out and instead it favored a specific vibe. And don't get me wrong, they achieved that vibe - somehow flimsy and wispy, but with the underlying heat. I think that's why they glossed over one'd trauma and somehow the feelings of the other one. They were just there somehow because of the vibes.
But, you know, the vibes really got me. So in the end, i read this a second time.

Dec 11, 2024 (PST) | Total Reviews: 2Actually very sweetAs others mention, trauma is glossed over, but the central relationship is very sweet. The side story is also intriguing and I hope we get to see more. I'm glad there is more to come!
