Wholesome and Spicy Romance

In the romance and spicy manga world, there is a wholly lack of mature, older characters. I have never left a review before, but I have to yap about how refreshing this story is. The characters actually take time to build their relationship, it addresses vulnerabilities that aren't just about looks, and the plot is actually present!

The female lead is very sweet, but the male lead is just out of this world. He's not possessive. In fact, he is a massive greeb flag, speaking with the wisdom of an actual adult. I can't wait for more chapters.

Mature and wholesome romance

Long story short: one of the best I’ve read (I am at chapter 15), and I’ve read manga for 30 years.

Short story long:

This is a love story between two adults. Male lead is a mature and sensible (but delightfully playful) man who is confident but not prideful. A full 💯 to this piece of emotional soul candy, he’s about as perfect as wholesome ML’s come. Even plot points that might feel a bit worn end up feeling fresh due to his way of handling them. Female lead has some insecurities that make her relatable, but she does not cross over to the annoying territory, and while she can be bashful in her crush, she doesn’t become a silly shy teenager when things go her way. The adult scenes are tastefully explicit; no fade to black here, but don’t go in looking for extremely graphic content. This story just feels good to read. Highly recommended.

Love the story dynamic

There is a lot of details in the story and it show emotion very well. The couple is very cute together. Soo in love with the story.

Amazing story and ML 💙

Im not used to ML in their +40 ages, mainly all stories I read are reeeeally boring and a little male chauvinist, but this one... O M G this one is just amazing

The sexual tension is through the roof!: OMG. I just want the two of them to get together already! They're so good for each other, but the building up of their relationship is well worth the wait. The struggle Waka faces after a horrible breakup would leave anyone reeling. The duality of her personality is done really well and not at all fake. I love her more in-your-face attitude when it comes out, and how funny it is when she tries to keep it from Takeda. It's paced well and while I wish the author would just have them get together, it builds up slowly and adds just the right amount of tension between them. I'm hoping it lasts and I can't wait to read more!
