Premise seemed somewhat interesting. First chapter piqued my interest but didn't immediately grab me but I figured I'd give it a few chapters before deciding to drop it. Chapter 3 hit me with the characters' motivations and backstories and I was in for the rest.
The characters' tragic backstories/motivations can come across kind of simple or cliche, but the emotion put in the panels are what really got me. That scene of Yamashiro leaving home to go off in his own and stating what it was he really wanted grabbed me and that's when I know I was gonna have to see this through.
The art is nice and pleasing. The emotions are drawn well enough that make the story pack a punch for that extra oomph to the feels. The H scenes are appealing. I guess the only complaint is that it's too short so it feels kind of rushed to its conclusion. I wish it was possible to give the relationship more time to breathe and develop further. Overall decent read and I got more out of it than I expected.

Interesting premise: an unrequited love spurred Yamashiro to go after guys for one-time-only hook-ups to avoid getting his fragile heart broken, while Yashiro fell in love at first sight when he saw him by chance years ago. They both have a somewhat similar sad backstory, but they are meant for each other in a way too.

The story is very unique with a blend of introspection and relationship dynamics, which I think Sachimo really excels at. The characters feel incredibly human—flawed, vulnerable, and sometimes frustrating, but in a way that makes you root for them.
The pacing is slower compared to some of Sachimo's other works, but I think it works here. It gives you time to really sink into the characters' internal struggles and understand their decisions. The art, as always, is stunning. This author has a way of drawing expressions that hit you right in the heart—there were moments where just a look or gesture spoke volumes.
