Story :  As the illegitimate daughter of a count and his maid, Katrina was born into miserable circumstances. And now that she's lost her mother, the treatment from her stepsister and stepmother the countess has only grown worse. One day, her stepsister receives a royal order to move to the northern outskirts due to her unseemly behavior at a recent party. There, she is to learn proper conduct under the tutelage of the resident prince, rumored to be a cruel man. Not wanting to subject her daughter to such punishment, the countess decides to send Katrina instead. Katrina arrives in the north shaking in fear. But contrary to the stories, the "merciless and cold-hearted" prince is kinder than she believed. Might the pure-hearted Katrina find love in the wintry countryside?

    they both are beautiful
This review contains spoilers. I went into Saved By the Ice Cold Prince's Embrace expecting a typical cold-prince-warms-up romance, but I was pleasantly surprised. The story starts with the heroine at her lowest—emotionally shattered and utterly alone—and then throws her into the path of the aloof, emotionally distant prince. What I loved was how their relationship developed slowly and subtly, with small gestures carrying deep emotional weight.

The prince isn’t just "ice cold" for the sake of the trope—his past trauma makes his emotional distance feel believable, and watching him begin to care for someone again was honestly moving. The art is beautiful too, especially the way the artist captures the chill and warmth in their scenes together.

If you're into emotionally charged romance with a hint of healing and character growth, this one's worth a try. It's not overly dramatic, but it quietly sneaks up on your heart.

    Can't wait for more
I guess I'm a sucker for a Cinderella type story, but I really enjoyed this one! I love some of the side characters (especially the maid), and there were so many parts I was laughing so hard to that I had to explain what was going on to my husband who found those aspects fun too. I should know better than to get sucked into an unfinished manga, but I'm really glad chapters are still coming out. I hope it gets finished because I'm so here for it!

Review Spotlight!

Minyoung
Cinderella story with a hot and cold prince
A frigid prince (in more meanings than one) and the heart of warmth that lies underneath. His words may cut, but deep down, he's kind and caring. If you love the tsundere archetype for guys, this one's for you. Plenty of drama with the evil stepfamily to keep you on the edge of your seat, too!
