Her childhood friend the male lead genuinely likes her. When she wanted to lose weight, he convinced her otherwise which is nice to see in manga. Typical pretty plus size female lead being rejected by men because she’s fat. Only one guy likes her and it’s her hot childhood friend that she doesn’t see beyond platonic relationship.(1)
