I enjoyed reading every chapter, but I wish just a little more back story had gone into it so we really feel the roller coaster the main lead goes on emotionally.

I don't really like that Aki only paid attention to Ryuji because his first love was finally unavailable. It felt more like "second best" is better than nothing, rather than genuinely falling for Ryuji. I suppose there are many BL stories with this trope, but I didn't quite like the execution of this story.(2)
