For Mito, being the thrall of a vampire is the least of her worries. Mito's lived life on the streets since she graduated from middle school, dressing as a boy to stay safe. She's managed to eke out a grungy, friendless existence, but when a handsome vampire, Ruka, rescues her from sure-death, he makes her an offer that sounds too good to be true: become his subservient thrall from which he can feed whenever he wants, and she can live with him-in the boys' dorm. Because her very existence depends on her secret not being found out, every day is a new danger-to say nothing of what living with a vampire could mean! Ruka, not knowing Mito's a girl, dotes on her night and day in an attempt to ripen her "disgusting male blood," but the closer he gets to her, the more likely her secret could get out...and the closer she gets to having her new, wonderful life come crashing down around her... A heart-pounding, (blood)-thirsty new romance from the award-winning Ema Toyama (Missions of Love, Aoba-kun's Confessions)!

Great story

Loved the story, the characters and the ending but had to go to another website for the last volume. Idk why it's listed as complete here on mangaplaza when they didn't add the last volume. Side note, had lots of kyun moments~

Okay Manga / Not so Good Anime

As the title implies, the manga was alright. If you like the premise and are chosing between the two the manga is better. It's got good pacing for an okay storyline.

Have to admit though no fang in this story is the sharpest. Everyone is kinda oblivious of everything and the simplest ideas are re-explained and rehashed over and over. If you're looking for a good chunk of content that's vampire themed I'd say go for it but it's lacking in good writing.

I'm going to cringe

I used to read it just a little bit, but since it was made into an anime, I've been interested in reading it again. There is also a bit of a sticky feeling as a development, and there are parts that are frustrating, but in addition to the unusual setting of girls dressed as men and vampires, many girls who are also good at Gaya were attracted. The feeling that pure romantic feelings were being tested was also wonderful.
