Sayo, born to a rural village, lost her mother and now everyone sees her as a nuisance. When a drought strikes the village, the chief decides to drown her in a lake as a sacrifice to the water god "Suijin-sama."
She thought her life ended there...but she wakes up with fluffy animals all around her! Bear, wolf, monkey, fox...and a penguin!
Then the bear tells her: "You, a human, and you, a funny looking creature in black-and-white. Did you trespass, knowing that this is Suijin-sama's inner court?"
What is this place!? Sayo had no idea what is awaiting her.
