Surprising depth and comedic balance

Pleasantly surprised with this manga! The story and characters offer more depth than most in the "Adult Romance" genre, in fact it should be given more tags as just that doesn't do it justice.
I find myself relating a lot to the MC's career struggles, personal insecurities and thought processes. The male lead is also refreshingly believable and endearing, not despite of but also because of his annoying aspects. The supporting characters also nicely add to the story with enough depth that doesn't become too much. All of them are multi-faceted portrayals and I appreciate the writer's effort in this aspect.
Lastly, the reactions and cues are actually funny? I found myself LOL a few times and tearing up once already, and I'm only at chapter 10!

The characters feel human in their vulnerabilities, and the story treats their experiences with respect, rather than sensationalism. It’s mature, not just in content, but in perspective—an inclusive, emotionally grounded read, that normalizes conversations about desire, trust and personal growth.

Explosive start and then slow burn

I came over to the platform due to an ad for the first couple of chapters. Their meet cute is original and hot. As all new couples the more normal themes are introduced and it becomes more about that than the original hook. Still cute and I binged the series but I wouldn’t say this is super spicy overall.

An Ace's Take

Disclaimer: I'm ace, but I occasionally dabble in spicy stories in an attempt to get into the headspace of allosexuals. With that said, I tremendously enjoyed this, with its complex characters, and am quite tempted to recommend this to people who aren't necessarily fans of the genre.

Excellently written, which I hesitate to say about many in the genre.
