Heartfelt and emotional

This was a beautifully written story about kindness, trust, and human connection. The characters felt so real and their growth was nice, making it easy to get emotionally invested.

With its blend of heartache and hope, the story explores belonging and second chances in a simple yet profound way. A very touching, reflective read.

A redo of Kimi wa pet

Has a Kimi wa pet vibe but the hero is just 16 and they have a 15 years gap, so I hope there is no romance planned xD or at the very least I would expect a time skip or something.
I think Kimi wa pet characters and narrative were deeper but maybe with more chapters it will improve?

Read on a whim

I somehow found this title and was intrigued, so I gave the first chapter a go. If I had to describe this in one word, I would say it was melancholic.

Melancholic but heartwarming: I can never resist a found family story, and this one's no different. Our leading lady Ai thought she was doomed to be alone and had just about made her peace with that. When Nagisa appears, though, Ai realizes that she was longing for some kind of family more than she thought. Nagisa himself is surprised by what a warm home he's finally found, compared to the more detached relationship he has with his father. His feelings toward Ai are a bit ambiguous, and I'm not sure if there's a romance on the horizon once he grows up or not, but for now it's nice to see these two gradually settling into life as a makeshift family.
