Supermarket Sweetie

I have been following this manga for years and I just discovered today that MangaPlaza picked it up and I’m so happy!! This is one of my favorite mangas and I can’t wait to read more~

Supermarket Sweetie is my all-time favorite romance manga. Its focus on an adult relationship with characters who have long left the need to be embarrassed about first kisses and holding hands is very refreshing, and this focus doesn't make it any less cute, as the outgoing protagonist Tamao and her bashful love interest Rakumaru still help deliver those butterflies in your stomach one often gets when reading this kind of manga.

Ever since I first read it, I'd been left wanting more, especially upon rereads that made me appreciate aspects of it in retrospect. Finally, after years of waiting, I'm so happy that it's back! What we have so far is just as good as it's always been, with fantastic art and expressions, funny dialogue and jokes, and stories that touch on the darker parts of a relationship between adults who have been through turmoil in their lives. If you're an avid fan of romance and "opposites attract" stories, this is a must-read.

Please please PLEASEEEE release the rest of this in English!! This is one of my favorite mangas, I'm literally unlocking everything even though it's available on Premium. It's so sweet how the two leads are there for each other through the troubles in their lives as two working adults. Their relationship is literally so healthy, they love and support each other!! So please let me love and support this series too, I need all the chapters available to buy in English!! I can't find it anywhere else and I unfortunately can't understand Japanese 100%.

You can tell the writing is done with care, and the art is cute!! I really recommend this manga if you like fluffy but realistic stories set beyond high school.

I love them, the sweetest main characters and a really wholesome story 💛💛 can't wait for more chapters to come out - a real joy to read!

I love the main couple!! Tamao is so cute and caring and yamada is so sincere and thoughtful. Even though he's an average shy guy type, he still has the courage to make a leap and show tamao affection. I highly recommend it!!!
