I loved this! I was a little worried when it first started out because I thought it was going to be centered completely around sm*t with very little story, but while the storyline was simple, it was super cute! The insecurities they both had were believable and the drama not too over the top. Definitely recommend. The only thing I wish is that there was a time jump to see them married, successful with their careers, and possibly a family.

IMO, this story went on longer than it needed to with artificial drama thrown in through rivals, false-rivals, and misunderstandings. But it has some features that really set it apart from a lot of the rest of the genre: the main characters talk about their feelings and their problems, they have realistic insecurities and the male LI isn't some idealized perfect man, the sex is consensual without false modesty or a totally passive female LI (she even takes the lead sometimes), and they don't climax 8+ times in a row and they're not always in the mood. There's a diverse supporting cast and a (mostly) believable relationship progression. It's nice.
