I am not a fan of the "cold, distant, powerful male lead who the heroine falls in love with regardless" trope in general. The manga revealed a more textured approach. I have binged the entire series up to this point. While I wish that Yuzu was less of a "Faithful Griselda" and while it is taking an excruciatingly long time, Yuzu has been steadily growing even as she humanizes Reiya.
A caveat with the description, rather than "Cinderella" it strikes me more like the Cocteau "Beauty and the Beast."
