    Sweet, interesting, surprising
    I really enjoyed reading this. The female MC is career-minded and enthusiastic, with some classic tropes of trying to ignore her own feelings while not really picking up on other people's feelings. And also being a bit daft by assuming some things are in her own imagination. While a lot of it felt familiar, there's definitely a twist I did not see coming at all. Still not sure how I feel about the reveal but it was interesting and novel.

    A contrived but interesting situation
    It is somewhat blunt with the contrived situation (two erotic writers decide to hook up w each other to get the spark back into their career), but it's been a cute read anyway. Surprisingly sweet given the contrived set-up. Definitely contains the trope of the female MC studiously ignoring any feelings she's developing and also being a bit daft about picking up on anything from other characters. But enjoyable anyway.

    Enjoyable, classic career woman story
    This has been an enjoyable read. It's got a classic story of a woman focused on her career when things seem to fall apart until some new men arrive in her life. It's sweet and engaging. It's got some tropes of being bullied by co-workers, male MC coming to female MC's aid, and a somewhat unbelievable ability of the female MC to totally miss major clues.
