Sweetness and Lightning

Lots of sweetness, reasonably wholesome

This review contains spoilers. For those of you concerned about the age gap between two of the characters: apart from the younger student thinking about her feelings, nothing overtly romantic happens until the younger character is an adult.

The characters are likeable and I really love the interactions with Tsumugi and her father. It's so sweet.

Burned-Out Rika Can't Take Care of Herself

Cosy, sweet and very realistic

As someone with an Asian mom, Rika's mother in this series was so triggering.

Really sweet series that deals with family friction and work burnout in a realistic, sympathetic way.
