This manga touches on themes that are rarely discussed, and does it with sensitivity and grace. While it may feel a bit slow, there is reason for that. The build up of Koyuki's emotional trauma and Minato's happy go lucky personality are essential, and the pay out, when it comes, will have you gasping, squealing, and jumping up and down (just like me!).

Yes, this is a traditional, romance-high school-slice of life, manga with all the fun personalities and classic high school tropes, but it is so much more than that. You will be rooting for Koyu and Minato, as well as Shota and Miki , and all the rest with your whole heart.

I rated this four stars instead of five for one reason. The ending. It feels very rushed. I wish the author had taken maybe two more chapters to finish the manga in a way that matched its earlier pace. Readers are left wondering about each character and where they end up or even where they want to go next. I love this author but their endings always leave you hanging.

This is a sweet romance between the class weirdo and the girl no one notices. Super cute, totally checks all the high school romance trope boxes. I love that while she is kind of ignored because her friend is so cute that, doesn't mean she's shy. She's friendly and open so there's none of those painful awkward silences. He's adorably clueless but also a total gentleman. Their relationship gives you all the leg kicking, heart pounding, squeals.

My only problem with it, is that there aren't more chapters out yet. 😁
