Reviews for The Deer King LightNovel

It's quite difficult to describe Nahoko Uehashi's work in words. If I try to sum it up in one word, it will inevitably become a cliché word based on my vocabulary. When I started reading it, I was overwhelmed by the sense of the world. The suffering and happiness of the people living in that world are also carefully spun out, and they are more and more immersed in the world. So much so that I could feel the protagonist's breathing right there. The King of the Deer has been mentioned in many places, but for Uehashi Nahoko, it's a work that is slightly aimed at adults. Therefore, expressions that are slightly difficult come up, but they also give the story a profound feeling, and it fits perfectly into this story. I get the impression from where I look at it, but it's really interesting. I'm glad I came across it, and this is one of the works I want many people to read.

I feel like everything in the story is connected by chance and miracle. They are connected in unexpected places, such as the protagonist's travels and political movements.

It was so interesting that I spared no time reading it (up to 4 volumes). Clean sentences and a well-crafted grand world and story. I think the best fantasy writer in Japan.

I was drawn into the story from beginning to end. It was so interesting that I reread it again as soon as I finished reading it. It's fantasy, so it's different from reality, but it also feels like it's linked to reality... Anyway, I was impressed. I recommend it.

I loved Nahoko Uehashi's works, so I started reading them. From the moment I started reading it, I was drawn into the story, and I felt like I could see that world right in front of me. Anyway, I recommend it. If you like fantasy, there's no harm in reading it.

I was addicted to playing the beast, and I made use of my experience of reading it all night long, bought it and kept warm until the end of the year. I started reading it when the tea and blanket were ready, and I was still engrossed in reading it. The Beast Player and the world view are similar, but it's a completely different story. Along the way, you can't read the developments at all, and it's really amazing that you can't take your eyes off him.

The depiction, the story, everything were too amazing, I forgot the time and was drawn into the story, and I'm moved every time I reread it over and over again

A stage with a historical background that still seems to coexist with nature. Those who search for diseases brought about by beasts and ways to cure them, those who survive illness and live on the run, and those who search for them. A narrative that can be experienced from the perspectives of various characters. Is it because there aren't many onomatopoeia noises even though it's a thrilling development? Even though there was a sense of tension, the story unfolded in a thick and quiet manner. I'm looking forward to volume 2 too!

As expected, I can't stop reading it because it's an epic story that progresses from the perspective of the two main characters.
