What a lovely, fluffy read! Love the character development of the FL and also from the ML too, plus hinata is too cute ☺️

A Manga Like Warm Soup on a Cold Day
A beautiful story with a familiar but distinct art style. A story that hits close to home with its themes of life paths, regrets and diversions. It left me feeling full and nourished. A small trove of people you quickly come to love the way they love each other. Instant comfort read.

Amazing story that heals the soul
Rika's struggles as an overworked teacher in her 30's are relatable: feeling burned out from work and pressured under typical expectations for a woman's happiness, she was able to find solace (and romance) in a Chinese restaurant. Yuji is an incredible male lead: he appears nonchalant, but he is caring and he communicates his intentions clearly. I get butterflies reading the interactions between him and Rika. None of the supporting cast is one-dimensional and we are able to understand where they are coming from. Definitely one of the best reads on this website!

    Relatable!
Rika is burned out from trying to live up to other's expectations. I heavily empathized with her. Haven't you ever just wanted to quit it all so you could breathe? This manga reminds us that we all go through tough times and it's okay to not be okay.
Anyways, this is a great cozy little manga about self-care and has a sweet romantic sub-plot. Definitely recommend!

    Wholesome and heartwarming!
This review contains spoilers. This was such a good read. The characters are relatable and actually really fleshed out. Their backgrounds are explained so you understand why they act the way they do. I didn’t expect to be so touched by it but I think it’s such a good reminder that we are more than just our successes. The romance is also very sweet, no misunderstandings, no drama. Just two people who love and respect one another. Highly recommend!

    Cuuuuute!
I understand burnout. Sometimes I wish I had the courage to just quit and start again, too. I really like "found family" stories and this one was sweet.

    The perfect josei omg
Such a beautiful, understated story!!! It doesn't overstay its welcome with 15 excellent chapters, and discusses grief, family, and burnout with empathy and grace. I'd say this is low on butterfly-inducing romance with a capital R, but it's also low on manufactured drama and unnecessarily villainous dorks, which is a net positive in my book. I cried at least twice by the end and will absolutely reread this in the future. 100/10 stars!!!

    Refreshing take
I love this story so much. It was a refreshing take and although the romance is important, it feel natural not inevitable. Also so many mature and realistic moments throughout. Cannot recommend enough!!
