Grateful it's not groomie. Massive trigger warning for violence against children to start, but that goes away after the first chapter, fyi. FL has PTSD though, so it crops up again. Blissfully the guardian ML isn't creepy (imo). Excited for further chapters.

The story is very well written, you will be surprised in a moment, anger in other, but the main line that come across the all story is the sweet relationship between the main characters.

Love exploring how matebonds can affect someone on a platonic level. I hope it doesn't evolve into something romantic, because I would love if it subverted the soulmate bond to be more than just romance by exploring other forms of connected bonds.

im hoping that the romance part of the plot doesnt happen until the FL has aged up a bit, and maybe some time away from ML so that it doesn't become a 'Father Figure to Romantic interest' type thing, so far the writing is very nice and all the characters are wonderful to read, nothing too over the top, no characters downplayed as of yet. so, nice story

His "Fated mate" being an 8 year old child is almost sickening. A waste of time in so many aspects. Also I don't like that she's weak and then then thinks of past memories and suddenly she's too powerful, makes no sense.
