Simple artstyle, not too enthralling

This reminds me a lot of Kakuriyo, only with less substance and more abuse from family. It's sad that her parents and own sister don't love and care for MC. Even the sister's fiancé treats MC badly... I can stand some abuse but right off the bat the amount is ridiculous even for the Cinderella trope. In terms of character design, everyone is quite plain. The ayakashi aren't very handsome imo and look like regular dudes? So that takes a bit of the thrill away. Just not for me.

More Creepy Than Romantic

The story is rushed with very little context or build-up present. My biggest gripe is all the non-consensual themes surrounding it. The FL is basically kidnapped and forced into a life she didn't ask for with a man she doesn't know. I tried to give this a shot, I really did, but there is almost nothing good I can say about this manga.

cute enough but bland

This review contains spoilers. Up to ch.33. I have been reading it because I like the art and enjoy the fun wish fulfillment in these types of stories, but it's been getting harder and harder to enjoy it as the plot goes on.

I don't think either of the leads are very interesting. Everyone either extremely loves or unreasonably hates Yuzu and it's often hard for me to understand why. She's a fine protagonist, though doesn't really do much on her own. Things just...happen to her and that drives the plot; she gets kicked out, she is put into the ayakashi school, someone hates her and it leads to her getting kidnapped.
I CAN understand why people dislike Reiya. The man is standoffish and not super likable outside his interactions with Yuzu. I'm not really a fan of the trope of someone being awful to everyone but their partner. His warmth towards Yuzu doesn't really make me like him that much, especially when it's placed next to all his other tendencies.
I'm also not entirely convinced of the chemistry between Reiya and Yuzu outside of being mates.

Its okay

I like to just read through stories like these. It’s nice but also a bit bland. The main character girl is just always sad. Like it’s her only emotion. That can get boring quickly.

The FL is so dumb

The FL was warned MULTIPLE times and just couldn’t take a hint because she’s just oh so “sweet, innocent, and naive”. Like I’m sorry, but she’s just plain stupid. Like unforgivably stupid. There’s a limit to how much common sense one can lack, and she hit that limit and kept running past it. She’s powerless, a pushover, a doormat, codependent, and dumb. Her sense of self-worth and critical thinking skills honestly do not get any better 40 chapters in. It’s quite annoying. I can’t recommend this story in good conscience.

Boring

I mean, the title sums it up. It's mega cliche and boring, and the characters are all so 1 dimensional. The FL is sad and insecure, to the point she's infuriating. Her sister is stuck up and mean. Her best friend....exists? The ML is obsessively in love with her for magic reasons. And there's a random rival for his love who just exists to be 'perfect'.

told me if I apply for the free child I could read the story for free but then as soon as I applied, I couldn’t even read the story for free. It took my money and now I’m not allowed to read the story. I only leave on chapter. like t f

Weak

A cute storyline, but her inability to show any other emotion besides sadness and distrust is annoying, not worth the money when there are other fully flushed out stories where the mc can actually evolve.
