Reviews for Ashita no Joe: Fighting for Tomorrow Manga

When I was a kid, I called him Hama. I cried when Chikaraishi Toru died, but I had a different impression when I read it again when I learned as an adult that Chikaraishi died because of unreasonable weight loss due to character design, by the author in the middle of production. When I was a kid, I thought Joe might have died, but when I reread it now, I feel like Joe is alive somewhere.

It's the comic I've been most influenced by in my 19 years, and it's all about me. Of course, the dramatic and unconventional stories and characters created by Asaki Takamori are added to that, Tetsuya Chiba's clever psychological depictions and overwhelming comic techniques, and the perfect balance is maintained, making it a truly miraculous work. The good points of the two of them are also condensed in the dialogue rotation and direction. Joe's coolness is illegal. Of course, it's fascinating from the beginning, but it's not until the latter half of the story that all of Joe's charms are brought out. It's scary to think that such characters have existed since the 1960s. The rivals are also equally cool, and they are depicted as completely ideal male images that cannot be imitated by ordinary people. Even so, it's strange that they are able to empathize. Also, they are very good at drawing women. While the involvement of women is minimal in shonen comics, I get the impression that women are carefully drawn even when viewed from a female perspective. I read it every day for about half of my life, and I never get tired of it. Tomorrow's Joe is life.

I was so addicted to Joe's life, but it's a life I can't imitate. Personally, I like it better after the power stones are gone.

I used to watch reruns of anime when I was a kid, and my soul gets hot even if I read them now

Speaking of boxing manga, tomorrow's Joe! It's a moving and passionate manga. It's definitely interesting, so be sure to read it.

A major title that everyone knows. It's refreshing to read it on my phone again. Let's review before watching the movie ⚡

I don't read sports manga... Still, there are a lot of quotes about this work. I want to get hot. No, when something is hot, this is fine, isn't it?

When I first came to my house (my parents' house), my father bought it and brought it back with me the video for “Tomorrow's Joe.” The whole family sat down in front of the TV and watched it (except for my father. (Laughs) Memorable...

When I was a kid, I read it at my friend's house. It's a very famous work, the gold standard of boxing manga, and today's young people must have heard the title
